Peter is a UK-based commercial and intellectual property solicitor with a specialist focus on the creative industries. He works mainly in the music, media, digital, film, television, publishing and marketing sectors, and was recently mentioned in the 2024 Legal 500 as part of Glaisyers’ Media and Entertainment listing. 

Drawing on his background as a successful musician and songwriter, he offers a unique, first-hand understanding of the challenges creatives face in protecting their work and securing fair compensation. During his time in his band VYNCE, Peter amassed over a million streams and performed alongside household names such as Noel Gallagher, Blossoms and The 1975. 

Now advising creative individuals and organisations, Peter is a strong advocate for fairer protections and clearer rights for creatives in the digital age. He has worked closely with Liverpool John Moores University to establish a pro bono Legal Advice Clinic for musicians who cannot afford legal fees and regularly shares his expertise as a guest speaker at institutions such as Factory International, Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and Liverpool John Moores University.
