Alison joined Glaisyers ETL as a senior associate in 2023 in the Commercial Dispute Resolution team. With over 20 years of experience in commercial litigation, Alison has successfully litigated many matters and has a proven track record in resolving disputes in a proactive and cost-effective manner.
With a wide range of expertise, Alison is truly an expert in company disputes, commercial landlord and tenant disputes, property disputes, professional negligence, probate disputes and equitable restitution claims.
Alison acted for the claimants in the recently reported case of Leeson v McPherson [2024] EWHC 2277 (ch), aiding the Leeson family in achieving a landmark judgment in which the Defendant was found to have unlawfully killed his wife.
Outside of work, Alison is a Governors at St Michael and St Johns RC primary school in Clitheroe. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, taking lengthy walks with her dog and admits to being addicted to the gym, regularly attending more than 10 classes a week. Alison also enjoys watching films and eating out and has recently taken up bouldering.
