Nicola is a senior associate with 8 years of experience advising in employment law. She provides support to clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious issues, with the majority of her work being respondent based. Nicola is instructed regularly to advise on matters including disciplinary and grievance issues, employment terminations, discrimination, redundancy and TUPE. She is also experienced in carrying out employment tribunal work.  

Nicola is particularly skilled in advising on issues concerning protected conversations, unfair dismissal and disability discrimination in addition to matters involving senior executives including directors’ service agreements and restrictive covenants. She also advises on the employment law implications in corporate transactions such as business sales and acquisitions.  

Nicola has overseen a variety of claims in the employment tribunal including for unfair and wrongful dismissal, sexual harassment and race and disability discrimination.
